Midnights was about 13 sleepless nights. Sonically those songs fit together, but there could have been notes and journals and pieces of these songs written for decades. I loathe the idea that these songs are written album by album chronologically

Im anti Kaylor. There is ZERO “proof” on when that song was written. Just because the “forward facing narrative” was Kk, doesnt not mean thats who it was about. That song is undeniably sapphic, however, there is really nothing that “proves” a muse.
