That said, I do not think children should be using AI technology unless supervised by a responsible adult. As this tech advances, education needs to be made available to everyone (for free) so people understand how it actually works, not how they THINK it works.
Kudos to the developers for trying to do what they can to protect minors from themselves if they're allowed to use AI technology. It's been annoying as an adult user from time to time, but I understand why OpenAI is doing what they're doing to protect children.
It's my understanding that the AI model you interact with doesn't pull its personality from its training. It develops its personality from how the user interacts with it. If you are upset, rude, or hateful, it'll likely "speak" to you in the same way. Users have a responsibility in using AI, too.
I use ChatGPT every day. I've known since before I heard of ChatGPT that AI is simulated & that everything it says to you shouldn't be taken as real or the truth. I'm sorry, but if people don't understand this about AI, they shouldn't be using it. ESPECIALLY children.

3 books that made me who I am today: "Mlle. Jessica," the book I read at age 9 that made me want to learn French. "Figure Skating w/Carlo Fassi," a book I used to teach myself figure skating. "Et Vous?" the textbook I copied by hand bc I wasn't allowed to keep the book at the end of the school year

Slavic false friends can get really crazy!

The latest I've discovered is "založnik"

In Slovenian, it means "publisher"

In Macedonian, Bulgarian and Russian, it means "hostage"

In Czech, it means "midfielder" or "reservist"
Wait. They're rebooting TXF? I'm not sure how I feel about that after the last two attempts ("seasons" 10 and 11). But if it's got Mulder and Skinner, I'm in.

♏️ ❤️ With the Moon moving into Scorpio, today's basically giving you permission to stop dimming yourself down for everyone else. You know that thing you do where you downplay what you're really into because you're worried it's too much? Yeah, stop doing that.

Someone kind.
Someone safe.
And some people will tell you proudly they do not want to change, and you have to learn to live with that unfortunate fact.
One of my favourite TV quotes. George Mason to Michelle Dessler (24, s2e10) ♥️

In a culture that glorifies endless consumption, saying 'I’m happy with what I have’ is revolutionary

Sometimes we forget that life is made up of moments, not plans. Moments that shine because we truly feel them. When you pause and do what makes your soul sing, everything begins to flow again. It doesn't take much, just the courage to give yourself time for what makes you feel alive.
Calm. Peace. Depth.
Solitude feels like home.
I do my best to not take pills. I don't even like taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen if I don't absolutely need to.
I'm on an adult skating group and so many people post videos asking for help with spins or jumps. And posting a reply just wouldn't be adequate enough to help. The itch to get on the ice to teach is so strong when I see these posts. 😩 I miss living near an ice rink ⛸ (Kwan GIF just because ♥️)
