If you want a hard copy of your playlists (just the song/artist names and some extraneous details), you can export the .CSV files through a service like Exportify, and then import that into Excel/Spreadsheet. The Exportify .CSV shows Spotify's specifications for every single song, which I find cool.
Exportify
Export and save your Spotify playlists to csv. Analyze your music tastes in the Jupyter notebook. Data fields include genres, artists, popularity, year and more.

A graphic of a watercolor turquoise river, with splashing around rocks, and text in the center reading “Inclusive Portfolio Day Share: Alt text.” Four disability clip art graphics are around it, one of a deafblind cane, one poodle guide dog, one round pair of glasses, and a manual wheelchair.

Had to look into it because curious and I found a direct source. To think that the original Picture Smart feature didn't use these LLMs! (This also means that writing uninformative alt text won't save you, because the user can activate it at any time; thoughtful alt text is good, even if short.)
New and Improved Features in JAWS – Freedom Scientific
To use Picture Smart, press INSERT+SPACEBAR followed by P to access the Picture Smart layer, and then use one of the following keystrokes:

I actually find it somewhat ironic that the official [citation needed?] Portfolio Day account doesn't use alt text for its images. (Kind of a missed opportunity there, in my opinion, since alt text is searchable and the use of it might get more people on board and/or follow the official account.)

Western Alaska was hit hard by the recent storms. Houses floated away in Kipnuk, houses flipped over, people lost everything from the flooding that came with the storms. Please donate if you can. This group has a long history of supporting AK communities.

Oh, it's "Fuck You Columbus" Day? What a coincidence: I guess my ancestors passed through me as I was dropping this snarky-ass comment in my world-building notes before bed— lol, lmao even. As one says: "we lived, bitch." ✌🏽
(It's incidental: I was de-stubbing language pages.)

A screenshot of Obsidian, showcasing the article page for Zelish: an auxlang in my conworld. Text reads as follows:
Zelish (also known as Soloñol or Čeloñol) is a Tito-Hebean language predominantly spoken in Zelos, Aurum City, and Platina.

Banner with the heading "Out-of-Conworld Note":
Spanish is a very controversial language in these parts (similar to English, and French, and Portuguese too: the language of the colonizers that plagued the Americas). With explicit intent, there are two varieties of Zelish listed: one is the standard, colonizer version, called Enkan Zelish or Čeloñol, and one is the adaptive, "survivor" version, called Enyan Zelish or Soloñol.

As you can probably tell from the snark, Čeloñol is based off of Castellan Spanish-- or Spanish that comes from Spain. You can change this language to Catalan, if you really want to, or any other language that comes from Spain for that matter. (If you want to be funny, you can even change it to Romanian, because it's a European language that overlaps with Spanish in word form but not grammar due to both being Romance languages, but I digress.)

Soloñol, however, is based off of Latin American Spanish. This can be literally any version of Latin American Spanish that you can think of, but in canon lore the variety spoken in Platina is based off of Carib Spanish. (You can blame the documenter's ethnic background for that.)

If you're feeling extra snarky (I know I am), you can change Soloñol to one of the many, *many* indigenous languages across the entirety of the Americas (or just the parts touched by Spain), with a small caveat: some of the established cultures and/or civilizations *are* actually inspired by certain indigenous communities (both living and dead), with those languages having names. (As an example, Aurum City speaks Soloñol, but also the indigenous language of Miyadungun.)

Thanks for the clarification (and spreading the news about this in general on Bsky)! :) I had Windows trick a friend into upgrading once (the double-confirmation screens leading to the wrong button press-- social engineering at its best).
An unplugged ethernet cord might suffice, too, yes, or..? lol

I don't know if I'm considered a power user? I feel like Mint might be fine with what I do (listening to music while drawing/modeling/writing, coding if I continue learning Godot), but the Proton specs on the games that I play vary too wildly. It'd feel weird using a gaming-focused distro, though...
catatante.bsky.social
I wish I wasn't such a multi-purpose user, because it'd be so much easier, haha. The best thing about Linux is that it's a treasure trove of use cases; the worst thing is choice paralysis. At least I have MacOS experience under my belt so it won't feel as weird to try a new OS environment, but ah...

Quick question: were I to reset my Windows, would the steps in the MAS documentation still work? I've held off on resetting Windows for years (regrettably), and with EOL happening tomorrow, I don't know if it's safe for me to do-- and I don't know how the ESU works w/ fresh OS installs.
catatante.bsky.social
"Wasps in beehives" summarizes Microsoft's decisions in the past decade plus fairly well. "Thankfully", I did that a long time ago (though I think I connected the two after the upgrade, not during one); *somehow* I was still able to get the consumer ESU despite disconnecting it. +

Being on AMD right now is lose/lose because guess who closed their official forums this year HAHAHA ;; I had to WaybackMachine my way to troubleshooting this PC and it was hellish. Having moderate knowledge on computers in this day and age is tough, because everyone's swapping to Discord servers now
catatante.bsky.social
I got into the PC-building game with someone who eventually left my life, so I'm scrambling anxiously in a world I am very not well-versed in, HAHA. I think ArchLinux was the one I was looking into trying out, but information overload really just... brain dump. Yeah. Y'know.
catatante.bsky.social
Oh, I wasn't implying AMD/AMD is bad at all: that's just me character-limiting, haha. I run an AMD CPU + GPU and every distro I kept interacting with told me it's optimized to AMD CPU + nVidia GPU. I've been trying to find the distro for me but the brainfog-anxiety combo keeps making me quit/forget.
catatante.bsky.social
Yeah same. My main problem right now is finding a Linux distro that supports my crying-in-the-corner AMD/AMD machine because almost every single distro I hear about focuses on AMD/nVidia PCs and I am *not* buying an nVidia GPU until the AI bubble finally bursts. (They're financing this AI bullshit.)

I've definitely had my computer stuck in a boot-loop once (and it is *super annoying*), but so long as you have your Windows key at hand [can't remember how to find it if you didn't install Windows yourself] and a Win10 boot-stick, you can just re-install Win10 and lose only a few hours of your day.
catatante.bsky.social
The AI shit is literally the reason why I haven't upgraded and (refuse to). As for PCs bricking: unless someone has auto-updates on, Idk how that'd happen [I'm not in compsci] but Windows is shitty so ya.
This circulating post shows you how to upgrade to Enterprise and get ESU for three years, but 🤔

Windows 10 End of Life is in less than 2 weeks!
But you don't have to upgrade to Windows 11!!

This video will show you how to extend the life of Windows 10 by 3 more years via Extended Security Updates program safely, for free.

MS throws you to the wolves, but the wolves will throw you a bone.
catatante.bsky.social
Is it because you can't [or won't; no judgment] swap to Win11, or because you can't enroll in Windows's Extended Security Updates (ESU) programme for whatever reason? (I can't be assed to switch OSes at present and enrolled for ESU while I consider my Linux options, software parity be damned.)

Tatsu wears a lot of stim aids, including bracelets (which he either bites or stims with), his wedding ring (which actually has baubles that he can stim with), finger guards (so he doesn't pick at his skin/bite his fingers), and sometimes a necklace with baubles for stimming as well.

Okay one last thing: Day 9, inventory.
Nami is asthmatic, so he carries around his inhalers, his asthma action plan, and his spacer. He also carries around a medical card with up-to-date information on his vaccines and STI status, because it's his way of being a responsible adult. +

Hiroshi is skilled in cooking. Food was the thing that kept his mind preoccupied from the constant pain that he felt, and so he became a nutritionist: travels across the archipelago for meal planning. His only real weakness is his body-- but he does indulge in gossip, like the other Zhōu siblings. +
catatante.bsky.social
Tatsu's hyper-fixation is law. His weaknesses are that he is blunt, touch-and-food-averse, prone to his BFRBs, keeps himself isolated from everyone but his employees and live-in nurse-slash-wife... Besides that, he is a *very good* politician and legal counsel: he just needs help to communicate. +

Hana's skill-set is in speaking-- she's *really* good at it! She's also an avid player of video games, as she used them to learn how to work her chassis. Her weakness is, well... she's conceited. She deals with problems without thinking about its consequences in the far future, only the near one. +
