WITCH HAS LANDED AND SHE'S CUMMING IN HARD

Gather 'round for my Halloween piece for the year. Also, I left you all a story in the alt text

Two questions:

Any ideas for a name for the witch?

Sam had just moved in to the cramped room at the top of the Old Quarter Boarding House. Their landlady seemed relieved to finally find a tenant - most everyone who stayed there moved out by the time fall came around. Everyone knew the Old Quarter was haunted, but this year the ghosts seemed more unruly than usual. Low moans and throaty grunts preceeded loud thumps across the rooftops. These were followed immediately by scraping and scratching, as if something scrabbled desperately against the shingles. The groans grew into sobbing moans before they crashed into open-mouth wails that echoed sharply against windows closed against the chill of the oncoming autumn. The first morning of their stay, Sam-climbed to the rooftops, reasoning that such noise had to have a real cause, nothing like sobbing ghosts attaching the rooftops at night. They found cracked shingles, as though something stabbed the terracotta with force. Strewn about were strange bits of bluish straw, smelling of sweat and flowers. Sam stuck a bundle into their pocket, but told no one else what they had found. Each night, the thumping, moaning, and shrieking shook Sam's window. So they left the window open. It made things better...and worse. Something about the haunting had Sam bringing themselves to climax with the crescendo of echoing growns. It was in the first week, walking through the market, that Sam saw the witch. She wore a flowing floral dress. They recognized the ragged tufts of her broom, saw the telltale scuffs of red dust on the sharp heels of her boots. There was a shade of tiredness in her eyes "Long night?" Sam asked, picking up a small bottle labeled 'Vitality' "Mmm," she replied. "My work requires long hours each evening." "Potionmaking?" "Alchemy," she corrected with a smile. "Its more than mixing ingredients" "So I hear," Sam murmured. "It sounds...amazing." "You know," she said, leaning forward, "its a skill. And any skill... well, it CAN be learned." LoSDraws
