I have been thinking about fascism, being aware that today it has not a clear definition, being used in a too much widely way.
Tempted to define it as the way to directly impose an idea without agreement, using violence. But that is basically authoritarianism.

Weird thing about nationalism is that if a nationalist person from country A "A is the best" would have been born in any other country B, nationalism would make this person have a very different opinion on A, because of course B is the best. No consistency at all.

I think Nolan's Odyssey is just a port of the Greek epic to the North. Nothing in the trailer feels remotely Mediterranean. Instead, it’s dominated by dark, boring muddy colors, cold landscapes, trousers, medieval imagery, and even drakkars.
It feels like a vikingization of the Mediterranean tale.

Just saw the new Avatar movie: Same history for third time, and I think it should be at most two hours long. As expected visually stunning, though.
