The political system in the US is that it just doesn't allow true democracy, when in practice you are bind to choose between two flawed options.

You need a true parliamentary system were every party has a proportional say and vote, so new ideas can flow in.

I think all of those are part of the toolset used to achieve the end. As someone pointed out to me today, in that sense it’s also extremely Machiavellian.

But while authoritarianism can have the genuine objective of a general improvement of the group as a whole, fascism is that kind of authoritarianism that only pursues the improvement of a part while knowingly hurting the others.
