I sometimes wonder if Kevin Smith's Online and Twitter presence kind of neutered him in a lot of people's eyes in that it's kind of hard to recover from a post like "clit/brown/taint-area still pOwns my dick", on top of it his podcast stuff kind of made people think his nerd schtick was a little old
