Late 90s early 2000s was the absolute peak popularity of extreme sports.... There's a reason that you don't see that many snowboarding games or a plethora of Tony Hawk like spinoffs (max Hoffman, Kelly slater etc) anymore

Had an epiphany last night when looking through the model data in Quest 64.

Marmaduke, the guy guarding Melrode Monastery at the start of the game (right), is just a headswap of Brian's dad, Bartholomy (left). His character data literally points to Bartholomy's model!

Dezaemon 3D is the pinnacle
Star Soldier is good

And then that pretty much leaves Starfox 64 and Sin & Punishment if you include rail style shooters

I would not suggest playing the game before watching the original 20ish episodes of the anime

That's what I did and it was an obvious mistake lol

Very real lol
If you're a fan of the original series, the game is a wild experience

The only difference for Saturn Quest 64 is that it's impossible to emulate

I've never heard that combination of words, but thank you lol

You can find some enjoyment but I would not go in expecting 1080 lol

Yup
A lot of the time there's a reason no one bought a game in the first place....which leads to less available copies now

In Japan they came out the same year; which in a way proves the gap was even wider lol

Our household was pretty much the same, we were limited to whatever one or possibly two games we got for Christmas plus any funds we could scrap together between my brother and myself with maybe equal one additional game a year
