Ok, but what about VH1's Rock & Roll Jeopardy (1998-2001)?

You beat me to it! I was just about to say the same thing haha

Oh that absolutely played a huge role for sure...

It BECAME popular thanks to VHS rentals and Disney Channel airings, but it lost a TON of money at the box office, one of Disney's biggest bombs of the decade!

These were made by Boston America Corp., a company that made novelty media-based food products. I believe they were only around for a year or so, 1998-1999 maybe. In addition, in 2011, Frito-Lay put Cheetos in a South Park-themed package and called them Cheesy Poofs, sold only at Wal-Mart

I covered it on Twitter YEARS ago, but I don't think it has made the jump over here yet, an oversight on my part! I'll cover it soon, thanks for the reminder

Let's discuss! The original "Hocus Pocus" was:

1. Iconic, a true Halloween and 90's classic
2. Overrated garbage, revered through revisionist history
3. Eh, harmless fun

There was also a special collector's edition version, that came inside a special box made to look and open like the Book of Spells from the Hocus Pocus movies
A box shaped like an old mysterious leatherbound book sits on a pink velvet backdrop An open book-style box, revealing Hocus Pocus 2 cereal inside. On the lefthand side is a design like an old witches' book of spells, with ravens, twisted tress, and pumpkins

Adam Schefter and I have very few things in common, I'm okay with this being one of them haha...and he's not living rent free, his spirit contributes to the HOA

This isn't even my top 30 most upsetting Bills memories, it elicits absolutely nothing in me haha
discontinuedfoods.bsky.social
Yes, actually. A small consolation, but a consolation nonetheless. Also, I was reflecting on it the other day, but I sadly realized that in my entire life, the Bills and Orioles have won their respective divisions in the same season ONE TIME. That made me so incredibly sad
discontinuedfoods.bsky.social
Look, none of that would have happened if Doug Flutie had started the game, the Bills would have been up by 40 so it wouldn't have mattered

Glad they made so many changes in the offseason before the 1990 season started
