But he never knew him really. Just a passing acquaintance.

Most people seem to have missed who retweeted this picture of Farage in Gill’s office a few days after Gill began receiving his first bribes from Oleh Voloshyn (Oleg Voloshin). None other than…

Farage/Reform and the Trump playbook.

Mass sackings of unsympathetic civil servants
Promise to reduce workers's rights
Inflict spending cuts - hit the poor, old, sick, disabled

Now claims teachers are “poisoning our kids” - just as Nazis did to control education.

Power grab by dividing society.
Nigel Farage accuses teachers of ‘poisoning our kids’ on race issues
Exclusive: Reform UK leader’s remarks at event for private US college criticised as ‘grossly irresponsible’ by NEU leader

Ah! It's the National Trust AGM soon. Get your votes in for @celiarichardson.bsky.social suggestions if you need guidance on avoiding Reform Trust sleeper agents. He always goes on about the NT at this time of year.

Meanwhile Nigel's have a meltdown because of vegan tampons in national trust mens bathrooms (I kid you not).
All the major issues. @zackpolanski.bsky.social 🤣

Oh my son reads the Non League paper every week. He loves to visit non league grounds in the way others bag munros 🤣

I assume @celiarichardson.bsky.social can put him efficiently back in his angry box. My husband and son would think nothing of it if they needed to take one for their daughter/sister. Because they're sensible & thoughtful not constantly triggered by positives.

Reform UK MP Danny Kruger doesn’t give a shit about his constituents.

He can write all the letters he likes to help himself sleep at night, but the bottom line is he’s betrayed his constituents by defecting and he knows it.

In a letter to constituents Danny Kruger says Tory "failures" were behind his reason to defect.

@zackpolanski.bsky.social doing right by calling them out instead of apeing them.

Ever since I finished Question Time, Reform have massively been on the attack.

Including a rant from Richard Tice entirely designed to distract from Reform and Russia.

Everyone should know about Nathan Gill, the bribes from Russia and the link to Reform.

#LiarJohnson “breached rules designed to stop abuse of contacts made in public office, watchdog finds” but the consequences will be zero. Rules designed for those with a semblance of morality & affected by peer group disapproval utterly useless & ineffectual.

True. And more needs to be made of it by all other parties. In whatever way they can make it clear and spread the message. Over the pond is an example of how hoping people just see sense doesn't work. Communication is key.

The budget pain is not bad luck. It is Brexit’s bill.
A weaker pound, slower growth, higher borrowing costs, all made in the referendum.
So when you pay more tax, remember who sold the dream.
The architect of this austerity the creator of this scenario , the maker of these taxes…was Nigel Farage.

We were told #Brexit would save billions.
Instead it cost billions, and the Treasury scrambles for every pound.
Wages stagnate, taxes rise, services fall.
The public pays for Farage’s fantasy. He complains it’s not the right sort of Brexit. He walked away. We pick up the tab. #faragetaxes #rejoineu

Yes indeed. And now even less people are happy with it.
cornishskipper.bsky.social
Starmer blaming #Brexit for tax rises may be accurate but when only 37% of a now disproportionately dead electorate voted for it almost 10 yrs ago, based on undeliverable lies, the questions are why should the rest of us stomach it & where is Labour’s plan to change that? archive.ph/2025.10.10-2...

Sadly Ben this happens so many times for autistic folk. Dismissed & disbelieved. It's awful. Thanks for continuing to speak up.💙 It is a disability, we don't fit in this world design & people fail to see how hard that is to manage

It is embarassing not to see the BBC pulling up Reform leaders claiming that Nathan Gill was just some fan who got photos taken with Farage - he was an MEP for them & their leader in Wales while taking cash from Russia to act against the UK! Literally the very basics of your job to point this out

Hard to decide on the best bit of this round up. I feel it should be read out by Rachel Parris or Ellie Taylor. & I feel Pray the Gay Away is likely only a BBC pitch away (with a contemporary dance segment woven in). Thanks @bearlypolitics.co.uk x

A pub “gone woke”, activist judges, a “revenge” plot by Ursula von der Leyen and a Lithuanian Ballerina personally trying to bring down Western Civilisation - this week’s headlines truly outdid themselves.

All in Bearly Newsworthy, the round-up of what happened in the news this week (or didn't).

Reform UK on Staffordshire Council have decided to spend £142,000 on political assistants.

Here’s Reform Staffordshire’s Chris Large last month saying they were going to introduce a ‘headcount freeze’.

You can’t trust a Reform Councillor.

Aarrgh/! Affecting, not effecting. I realise it's a small thing but it's another branch on my bonfire of frustration at people voting them in.
