Understood. It was just a thought exercise if the Greens and Teals wanted the balance of power, how they might do it. As a voter, I might consider tactical preferencing if I thought it could influence the balance of power.
An interesting question then arises as to which seats to tactically preference against the ALP in, without inadvertently giving the coalition + RW indies a majority?
This is an argument for optional preferential voting. It is too easy for one party to achieve a majority from a low voter base. As it stands, for many Greens & Indy voters wanting a x-bench with the balance of power, tactical preferencing against the ALP in some seats might seem worthwhile.

Today's final approval of the North West Shelf is a climate, economic, and energy security disaster.

Australia Institute analysis shows the 45-year expansion is equivalent to building 12 new coal power stations.

We'll expel an ambassador from one country based on secret 'credible evidence'; but not the ambassador of another country openly committing a genocide.

On LBC @zoejardiniere.bsky.social lists 3 previous instances where military aircraft have been targeted by campaigners in order to prevent them being used in war crimes, and she describes the govt banning Palestine Action as terrorists as an abuse of state power.

Well said.
The International court of Justice has made it clear, states are liable for failing to address the climate crisis.
Looking at you Minister Watt and Prime Minister Albanese.
Congratulations to our Lissy and Samara on their brilliant #3MT presentations today!
My Hottest 100 votes. No particular order. Lots of protest and praise songs.
An excellent explainer of the restrictions we now face in NSW to peacefully protest. It begs the question, why are our elected representatives so scared of the public they are supposed to be serving?

Some experts say the state now has the most severe anti-protest regime in the country

Somebody needs to have a stern word with the oceans about the importance of gas as a transition fuel.
Just watched Seaspiracy on Netflix. I learned many things like there is no such thing as sustainable fishing, there is no dolphin-safe tuna and that most of the ocean's plastic waste is as a result of the fishing industry.

I shan't be buying fish anymore.
New sport and if you like goals the AFL is for you 😉
Thanks Alex. It's not my document, just sharing it because, you're right, we have to do something!
