Just imagine what upping the minimum wage would do. So many of these huge companies pay pittance wages making their employees rely on SNAP. The average American tax payer is in effect subsidising these businesses. Tax wealth not wages.

Very true. Our British government was disgraceful in promising Palestine to both the indigenous Palestinians in return for aid in its war and also to Jews as a land to run to from wars.

Here in France they shut a road for a DAY, with diversions- which do not have speed cameras- and re-do the tarmac, which is sooo smooth. In the UK they put up cameras, traffic lights which run 24/7, then work between 8am and 5pm, which lasts weeks.
