We've been hit and miss in the cup last couple of seasons, if nothing else should hopefully continue to boost the confidence and serve to sharpen up Rantala and Mouchon as they work their way back.
Jesus, PCL is rare in football. It's the ligament at the back of your knee so takes some force to rupture it. My husband doesn't have a PCL in this right knee because he got run over by a truck. Can't believe she carried on for 10 minutes after it happened.
An update on Merle Frohms 🇩🇪. We wish her a speedy recovery 🍀
Having a lazy afternoon. Hello childhood 🥲

Um, since when did Maya Le Tissier play at centre back? 🤔
I mean I imagine it's Thompson and Baltimore as wingbacks, and then a back 3, but why play Nusken there when she's not even a CB and she's barely played? She knows it's Champions League right?

Ultimately Taylor Hinds is an excellent player, but I think calling her up now sends the wrong message. Played week in week out for Liverpool, one of their standout players, wore the armband, clearly felt she was nowhere near so switched to Jamaica. Now she's played 145 mins for Arsenal, she's in?
"She [Maya Le Tissier] plays centre-back every single game and has good performances but for us her first position is still as a right fullback but we also know she can play centre back."

Begs the question why call them up and not give other players a chance? Why risk it for two friendlies? Sigh.
There she is 🧱⭐

Jani's GW6 stats:

🧤8 saves
🆙 1 high claims
👍🏻 15 recoveries
🛑 2.32 goals prevented
🧽 Clean sheet
Arsenal seem to play like that against everyone else but us 😂 think the only hope we have is in between CL and playing Chelsea the week after they heavily rotate as they did when they lost at Villa last season.
Solid point. Need to get Mouchon on earlier and take our chances. Sat next to Jani's mom and dad, made sure to tell them she's the best keeper in the league.

Janina Leitzig is the best goalkeeper in the world probably
We've got to sort out the officiating in this league. Lino missed about 3 blatant offsides, Daly shouldn't be on the pitch.
Rachel Daly just pulled Olivia McLoughlin's hair. Ref completely missed it
The power of Sophie Howard 🥲
A surprising defeat for Juventus😯. Shortly before the final whistle, Nadine Nischler scores an away win for Como💪🏼
In a bizarre turn of events, I find myself in the away end at Burton (where I live), as my husband is a Bolton fan.

The question is, do I join in with "Burton's a shithole, I wanna go home"?

Why are WSL teams doing adopting a front two, how does it work in practice, and will it spark a revolution in tactics across the league?

The question remains why we were in this situation in the first place, but lemonade from lemons and all that.
Good move I think. Clearly has the buy-in of the players. I'd have been more concerned had we looked to make another appointment now.

Like what I've seen from him on the touchline, including shouting "Chantelle [Swaby]'s gonna score, just pick her out!" to Hannah Cain taking a corner 😂
