The fact that evil future Danny Phantom is called Dark Danny and not Phantom Danny is a letdown.

It's literally Danny's ghost powers split from him so Phantom Danny works better two ways as it's a reverse name and a dark mirror and the sense that it's literally the phantom of Danny and not him.

Also who tf struggles with scene transitions other than the CW superhero shows?

The 'Right' acts like bringing up the dark times of the past is teaching people to hate America. But it's not. It's acknowledging the past mistakes of the nation, celebrating how far we've come, and promising to be better and better.

Bringing up and learning from the past is loving America.

Dialogue That Can Happen in #pathfinder2e

PC #1: Alright, the villagers should be safe from the zombies in the shelter. Let's go.

PC #2: Hang on, give me about 6 seconds to paint the door blue just in case.

Past 15th though if you have this fest you can do reasonable for yourself.

1 a day is not really as few times as you'd think on paper.

Average fights per day is around 4 so post 15 having a 40% chance to be able to reuse your Unstable, hero points to reroll, and a one a day guarantee you are solid
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Actually there is one that kinda does this Unstable refresh but it's high level and it's a thing you use instead of making the check to auto-pass it.

I wish it were a reaction to failing the check but *shrug*. I would also like to see a feat a bit earlier in level. #pathfinder2e
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Yeah. Haters really exaggerate. I do feel Unstable could use a feat to let you reset your Unstable and maybe make Inventor Expert at Crafting level 1 so that the Overdrive isn't 50/50 the first 2 levels but this class being seen as the worst is a great example of what's wrong on Reddit discourse

I will never forget the irony of this system having attracted a gaggle of Nazi climate change deniers in the past.

Like wtf this game is literally about the opposite of that lmao.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Any of the couple of ancestries that have a past life dynamic for fun flavor here.

A person rooted in the past and being reborn endlessly focusing on building the future. What if past incarnations were destroyers and at a point they change (maybe now or a few back)?
cheezeofages.bsky.social
I have previously expressed that I enjoy the flavor of a yaoguai thaumaturge because the idea of a creature with a cryptid vibe being a thaumaturge is fun. I have been thinking of what other fun combos I could come up with and samsaran inventor seems interesting to me. #pathfinder2e

This one gives you an elevated strike and something in sustain with no casting penalty.

Way better overall really.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Weapon obsessed people think Embodiment is the best gish Animist spell but nah it's this one and the recent one from an AP.

Not doing anything on Sustain really holds Embodiment back because it needs your casting already and then makes it so you can't cast + strike

Quick reminder that anyone complaining that a minority took their spot due to DEI is also proclaiming that they themselves are less qualified than every white person that did get picked.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Some time in the past few days I posted that the #pathfinder2e Inventor could imporve their weapon innovation damage easily by making their weapon cold iron or silver as their initial modification.

This was a mistake. I misremembered. That is a Breakthrough Innovation at 7th. I apologize.

And you can easily mechanically have the epic solo boss work without the icky APL +4 Extreme fight and at the same time make it seem like the BBEG has more action economy.

Just pad the fight with complex hazards flavored as special attacks.

But yeah climaxes don't have to be 1 person!
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Some creatures that might be magical creatures in other games are just animals. Like griffons and more weird things. The setting just has that one notch higher of weirdness where things are just normal animals.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
The inventor absolutely can have a suit of the best armor in the game that gives them extra Athletics and damage resist and have free gizmos that give them rocket boots and deployable additional armor plating and shoot magic disrupting science hijinks.

The flavor is right there.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Yeah. I can understand them expecting more item customization as inherent class abilities rather than feats; but it doesn't mean the class is bad or lacks the flavor

They have a rocket hammer than shoots lightning, but they see a hammer with some traits and two feats that give them special attacks.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Note that total doesn't include both material benefit and hitting a weakness with offensive boost because it's really rare to do both. So you can add 10 to that if you wanna be zesty.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Past level 9 you have Offensive Boost so you get a +1d6 that can potentially hit a weakness and can at a point be adjusted with a day of dowtime to another type.

Average on a d6 is 3 so when you overdrive a fiend with material vulneraility that's around your level you get around +17 that can be +19

And weaknesses and resists tend to hover around the enemy level. You might fight a Gnagrif in Kindled Magic that has weakness 3, or be in The Emnity Cycle and fight something that has 4. So in that latter fight you have by default almost the damage of a high damage barbarian rage on a failed check
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Gremlins are pretty much the replacement for goblins as fodder enemies in 2e and even on a failed Overdrive you'd deal +3 damage to them and that's 1 shy of the middle range barbarian rage. On success pre-3rd it's the same.

3rd it's 70% to succeed or better the check and +1 more damage.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
If you have Known Weaknesses this can even just be a part of their Devise a Stratagem. Which can be free if the target is related to a lead.

Super great.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
Also their later feat to get more info on a successful RK can be sweet.

The check to identify a creature nets you what it is, it's most famous trait, and then with that feat you get 1 more factoid (which should normally be an extra question IMO). Super great. Potentially all vital info in 1 roll.
cheezeofages.bsky.social
I take Inventor dedication on nearly every INT character I build because auto-scaling crafting, a feat to use it for traps and locks, and the other feats is good.

None of them are the same flavor as Inventor aside from maybe Alchemist + Inventor. I play inventor (or alchemist) to play an inventor.
