That's in my area! It gets very crowded which is fun but also a bit crazy. I love the parade (this morning) which is a lot of fun and generally walking around during the festival. It's fun to try at least once.

It's well worth exploring! Similar to a nice Chaorce.

I definitely blame social media for being a hotbed of terrible and amplifying the message but IMO it always comes back to Murdoch media. When crazy comes from social media, his team legitimises it on his network or newspapers and makes it standard. Ultimately both are terrible.

The Republicans have never been great in my lifetime but he has made them even worse. He legitimizes all of the insanity from extremists in the party, normalising their madness. Facebook definitely helps but Murdoch is at the core of it all.

As someone who grew up in the US, I find it painfully weird to watch. Politics have always been annoying but we're in an especially bad period thanks to Rupert fucking Murdoch who brought this to the US.

Both sides are horrible and totally deserve each other. When I went to school in Ohio it was pretty evenly split but these days it's batshit crazy Republican.

Bread in Paris has improved dramatically during my time here and it was already better than most places. These places look like such scams, targeting a certain crowd. I see one not far from me and I just laugh when I see tourists line up to be fleeced.

I'll definitely take it over the US any day or the week. Still worried that this will help something similar arrive here in 2027 or whenever the next elections are held.

A sacrifice, if you will!

She's not eating it, the cheese could go bad while she's away!

Between the name and the sign over the door, it sounds like pretentious bobo bullshit. With prices to match!

She's a socialable girl and needs to hang out with her peeps.

She's definitely chatty, more now than when she was younger. Blini is a Siamese so she's always been very chatty.

Do they also have *lots* of energy? I ask because Mimo is 1/4 Bengal and she has bursts of energy where she runs around and growls/grunts as she runs. Almost every day for a few minutes and she's now 6 and it's still going strong.

Some cats really love being up high. Mimo doesn't care but Blini always tries to find the highest spot. When she was a kitten this translated into vet visits for a swollen paw...numerous times. All of that tall furniture was sold so no more problems.

A #Caturday flashback to when I caught Mimo looking at herself in the mirror.

I still can't believe that ice cream shop closed! I loved sitting there but now it's an extension of the cafe next door.

It could be the church Saint Aignan, I'll have to look more. Definitely not Saint Pierre de Montmartre which is more simple and much older.

The church at Abbesses is brick and modern (~1900) but it could be another in the area.

I often take tea and sit in the garden at the museum and love looking over the vineyards. To think Paris almost lost that to property developers!!

He lived in the house which is now the museum. I recognize the locations of the first 3 but am not sure about the little church. Any idea which one it is? I'm very curious!
