It is technically possible the Stream could be built to UK loading gauge - both the previous gen Pendolino & TGV family were built to both UK and European gauge, after all.
Clearly significant extra development cost for an order of only 12 trains makes it unlikely, but not impossible…

In as much as it’s awful there are youth so radicalised & willing to engage in violence, it’s also encouraging to see there are youth engaged with different views, seeking to challenge and present the alternative.

And then when she came out wanting to go to the steam room, it was the same again.
Just calm reassurance, support, care and sharing of real trust between the 3 of them - truly supporting & respecting her independence.
Just lovely to see that from people.

The blind lady got up from her lounger & wanted to go to the sauna. Rather than get out, stop & hand-hold her around, they both stopped in the pool & supported her by carefully watching & gentle calm voice to help her navigate round the pool & the obstacles, to get to the door handle of the sauna.

One guy 1-1 trying to teach a young adult male to swim. Calm, patient, reassuring approach. Taking time to stop & talk. Very friendly.

And there were 3 ladies - very late teens I would say? One of whom was blind.
The other two were in the pool, just relaxed swimming together, holding each other.

Yesterday at the hotel pool turned out to be even more relaxing than I thought it would.

Wasn’t busy, there was some relaxing (but not naff) spa type music on quietly in the background… So the facilities were nice, but what really struck was there was some lovely human kindness on display.

That was the first thing I’ve been to that was a fully strict no phones (must be sealed away in a pouch).
Completely understand and support the reason, but it’s unusual not having any snaps to look back on.
Very old-skool - lives only in the memory…
