Was over there, now dabbling over here. I guess we'll see how things end up!
It’s the last paragraph that says everything.

The cruelty is the point, with this lot.
"A woman with a family connection to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Revere, Massachusetts."

Each time I hear “fiscal event”, I struggle to think of a bigger bullshit rebranding from a British government.

Brexit has cost each and every one of us £3,700 a year.

But instead of solving the problem, Labour are using Brexit as an excuse to raise your taxes.

My message ahead of the Budget: Stop blaming Brexit and start fixing it!

Ffs. All this government had to do was be better than the last one. It's not difficult, given that one engaged in the wholesale slaughter of elderly people and yet, it seems beyond them. The right to trial by jury is a cornerstone of democratic justice, even I know that and I'm an idiot.

800 years (just under) for trial by Jury.

Until Starmer's Labour got to power.

The choice between "spend money and improve the system" or "remove a citizens fundamental rights" seems to have been an easy one for them to make.
Trial by Jury has existed for over 800 years.

Until Starmer's Labour party made it to power, gave David Lammy more responsibility than he should have, and now it's on the verge of extinction.

If Lammy's changes pass, Reform will kill it off entirely.

We live in bleak times.

Imagine coming up with a proposal so stupid, so unworkable, so thoughtless, that it makes Robert Jenrick look sane by comparison.

Jury trials could be scrapped except in most serious cases
Only cases of alleged murder, rape or manslaughter will be decided by a jury under new proposals to cut court backlogs.

No surprise from this, tbh?
Even Labour members not convinced by Streeting & they’re clearly no fan of Mahmood’s willingness to sell out her own parents for career, either.
If the party installed Ed as PM after voters rejected him though, it would not be good optics?

All the rape, torture, and murder will be brushed under the carpet, a great lesson for any future war criminals.
