When illness felled me and ended my medical career, when I moved to the "other end of the stethoscope" as they say, I realized so many things. The unimaginable value in knowing you've been heard, chief among them. I so wish I could practice again, knowing what I live every day.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

To my shame, I was thinking selfishly. Not about what value he might get or how it might be impacted but rather how likely he would be to want to sign in Toronto. I had hoped that, as he had been hinting lately, that if he loved this team and won with this team, then he'd be more likely to stay.🫤

Thx. This whole thing is so lousy. I can't help but wonder what impact his inability to be part of any winning that happens has on his likelihood of signing a FA contract. 😭 Not to mention that it's just really sad for him (and me by extension.)

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.
