2019 is my favorite altogether, though. I could literally go on a 45 minute rant about everything I love about this show.

Niche topic but the trombone feature is Carolina Crown's 2018 show will forever be one of my favorites. Hearing it for the first time in person was SUCH an experience. I immediately sat up in my seat when I heard the first couple notes.

It really is! I feel like it never looks the same. And the days it's so clear that you can see all its ridges? It's difficult to pay attention to the road.

26 years and I have never gotten used to how big Mt. Hood can look on TV Hwy

I'll be honest. If this pattern was one continuous pattern, I would drive off a cliff. But the amount of motifs make it feel like it flies by 🙂‍↕️

The next motif and my starting point. Sooooooooo excited for this horse 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ #crossstitch #embroidery

Some people feel like they'll never be done with their cross-stitch. Unfortunately, I am delusional. I have such a bad habit of getting three motifs done and saying, "you guys I am LITERALLY almost finished" #crossstitch #embroidery

The guzheng and the guqin, respectively. The guqin is the older instrument, over 3,000 years old. The guzheng is over 2,500. Both are traditional Chinese instruments, and they are genuinely stunning.

I can't say that one singular instrument is the best in the world, but the guzheng, the guqin, the organ, the cello, and the french horn are really truly up there. Also maybe wooden flutes and the pan flute.

I love walking into the room and seeing them like this :'-) I got so so lucky having affectionate cats that get along with each other.

Okay so maybe I do tighten my hoops a little too hard.

If it isn't flattening out, does that mean my thumb loops aren't tight enough? I feel like my thumb is almost too big or something 😭 should I adjust and try to keep it more towards the tip of my thumb? /g

The Port of Portland looking at that kristi noem video as if we would ever play that shit and let her violate the Hatch Act in our airport, which is our literal pride and joy:

kkkristi noem and her goonies prayed over their meal of an oregon gem, burgerville. I did, in fact, message the business to see if they knowingly supplied that creature with meals and they were basically like FUCK NO

I hate to break it to people, but people living in war-torn countries are not finding the time to strip naked, hop onto their well-maintained bicycles, and race strangers through the city. That is not war behavior.

"War-torn portland" and we have a bunch of naked people riding bikes through the city during our annual naked bike race.

I didn't add medications bc I'm 1.) Not a medical professional, and 2.) Not telling you how to cure a cold.

I'm just talking about ways to help alleviate that sinus pressure and congestion while your body fights the infection. And being decongested will make you feel a little less like shit.

It's cold season, I have chronic sinusitis, so I have tips and tricks out the wazoo (three) to help you decongest.

1.) Sleep at a 45° angle to let your mucus drain properly. There isn't any point to doing any of this if you let the mucus pool into your sinuses, causing more pressure.

No tap water bc you can get bacteria very close to your brain. Distilled ONLY. NEVER tap.
clddl.bsky.social
3.) NettiPot. This is the most uncomfortable one. It's not fun, it might go down your throat if you don't angle it right, but it helps so much. You NEED to use warm DISTILLED water with saline salt. NO TAP WATER. The water will go up and around, pushing mucus out the other nostril. It is gross, btw.

2.) TEA!! TEA TEA TEA (with honey). Specifically ones with licorice root, fennel, stinging nettle, peppermint/spearmint, and elderberry.
