How I achieve the Jasmine Stitch! I use almost every finger on my left hand, and I added a slowed down version at the end. That way, you can really see my middle finger hook that working yarn, rather than pinching it and hoping for the best.

I don't take failure in textiles very well, so cro-tatting was an actual fucking nightmare for me. I could never get the stitches off the hook and it made me want to run head first into a brick wall. Needle tatting has been a gem to do, but cro-tatting? I'd rather die, actually.

I haven't crocheted in a while and I forgot how much I love front post/back post double crochets. They always make the best texture 🙂↕️

Someone tried saying the Roman Empire wasn't morivated by profit and I was shocked. I didn't realize there were people that misunderstood that empire so fundamentally.
The Romans valued profit heavily, and that caused socioeconomic disparities, leading to unrest. Profit was part of their undoing.

I feel a little torn about the maduro situation. On one hand, he was, in fact, a dictator that needed to go. On the other hand, the USA has a habit of destabilizing countries by gathering them up, wringing them out, and leaving them on the back burner to completely fall apart. It feels ominous, imo.

Okay so that's cornmeal, babe. If you didn't soak it in an alkaline solution (a process called nixtamalization*), then you didn't make masa. 🤷🏻
