Pray for Nikos cause he's already got a crush on Toraki. Now Toraki just needs to get a clue and realize he's got a crush on Nikos too. Might take the rest of the year. And next year. Who knows :D

Also the only reason Toraki's wearing Nikos' school hoodie is cause they share the same size and he just grabbed the wrong one, he didn't realize this one didn't have ear holes. He's not his boyfriend, alright? (😂) Anyway that's where they're at so lmao

Toraki is constantly denying these claims lmaooo so what if they cuddle on the couch sometimes watching "Who Wants to be a Gillionaire" or something. And that they both know each other's schedules, they're pretty similar anyway

By second year, they're pretty close with one another. Especially since they now share an apartment. Since Toraki gets his own kitchen now, he starts making proper meals for them both now and also makes a portion of lunch for Nikos since he might as well give him the extras while making his own

Near the end of the year, Toraki asks Nikos if he'd like to be roommates with him again next year since they gotta find off campus accomodations as second years and he'd rather share an apartment with someone he knows than strangers and Nikos agrees. So they go apartment hunting together too hehe

They agree to start over and things get better from there. Now Toraki's mom doesn't have to hear about how much his roommate is annoying him every day LMFAO. Their teamwork gets much better too, like immensely better and smoother. Turns out they work well together when they aren't busy being haters

Nikos admits he had been hoping they could get along and be friends. Toraki feels sooooo bad lmaoo like straight up, Nikos didn't know it but this was a surefire way to make Toraki feel so guilty. He apologizes for being a jerk for all these weeks cause yeah, he was being a jerk

Since they're both stuck in a spare room until it's their turn, Nikos finally gets to ask Toraki why he hates him so much and so Toraki tells him about their move in day and Nikos apologizes and says he didnt hear him back then. They also air out all the grievances they have with one another and

Anyway things come to a head during an assignment that goes kinda south. Nikos blocked a hit for Toraki while Toraki was dragging one of their other party members out so while they're both okay, they need to be cleared by the campus medical teams

It also doesn't help that they're assigned to the same light party together since they're both flex dps/tank so they're also forced to interact with each other and their teamwork isn't...exactly bad but it is awkward and stiff. To where their other teammates and the TA for their group notices it

Nikos is a bit disheartened by all this cause he was hoping to be friends with his roommate, if not at least amicable. He didn't really have many friends growing up in Dalmasca and was hoping to make some in college but his roommate is all but constantly hissing at him

So he doesn't particularly like Toraki either. Also doesn't help that during the freshman party, Toraki accidentally spilled his drink on him. Toraki is also an earlier riser than him so he's constantly woken up at like 6am because of Toraki

Toraki's like I can't fucking stand this guy, what the fuck why is he everywhere. Nikos is under the impression Toraki hates him because he will happily chat with other people but his ear always flicks and pulls back when he spots Nikos and Nikos is like what did I even do to this guy?

Since they share so many classes together, their schedules are pretty similar so it just happens to line them up to be at the gym at the same time, it's not Nikos' fault 😂 also since they share so many classes, they also have to see each other a lot and walk the same way to class a lot

Like, Nikos isn't actively trying to slight Toraki but Toraki is just constantly having his bias against him reinforced by tiny things that would be innocuous otherwise. Such as Nikos buying the last copies of several textbooks they both need. Or using the machines he wanted to use at the gym

Doesn't help that Nikos also accidentally left a container of Toraki's fave tea leaves on the radiator while it was running at full blast and basically ruined them. Basically got put on Toraki's mental shit list after that one lmaooo

On move in day, Nikos had his distracted and had his airpods in so he didn't hear Toraki introducing himself and unintentionally ignored him. Toraki immediately assumes he's a jerk because of this lmaoo. He's still kinda easy to irritate and holds grudges for petty reasons at this age so yea rip

Been thinking about Toraki and Nikos' relationship in this ffxiv college AU that Shoe made and here it is: they were assigned to be roommates since they're on the adventurer track and both flex dps/tanks and they immediately started off on the wrong foot
