I love watching the YouTube channels that do how to live off of $25 dollars a week at Walmart content. They're basically giving home economics knowledge of the past.

After watching a lot of these grocery bill expense videos bemoaning high grocery costs, I'm saddened even more by the fact that they no longer have home ec classes. Or people don't have time or money to make non-processed foods.

Another scam alert. I don't have any cards saved on my phone and don't use GooglePay (NFC) so my risk seems minimal, but a Faraday bag might be a good idea for folks who do use Apple Pay or GooglePay

I found that the inexpensive cabocha squash i got from the Asian grocery made a delicious pumpkin pie filling. Now i know what I'm making for Thanksgiving.

Argh 👿. I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with that. Glad your family is helping. I had a narcissistic parent growing up, but it was mental games and abuse. No one deserves to live like this or under the fear dealt by a bully.

Burning was rare. They actually hung most of them. Also, they targeted women with knowledge (midwives and herbalists) and property or wealth, especially older ones who spoke out.

I used to watch the British Sewing Bee and they do the same helping each other. I loved it because it was the perfect antidote to that nasty Project Runway. I think the only show i like where they're mean is Drag Race.
