Zohran Mamdani and Kat Abughazaleh both seem like they could have what it takes, but neither have held any federal positions thus far where it might be easier to see how 'cutthroat' they'd really be. Agree with others that Elizabeth Warren is another possibility.

I don't know anything about Machado, really, but I had assumed that she was the opposite of Trump in a lot of ways, just based on who she is.

It sounds like she fully supports the fascists including the US doing extralegal murder, so yeah, this isn't really a whole lot better than Trump winning.

I hope they're investigated, especially for the "guaranteed girlfriend/boyfriend" bit. I'd say that I hope their funding gets pulled, but since the bulk of it is from Andreessen Horowitz, I'm sure their investors are cheering this on and throwing more money at them.

Note that this is spelled out in the Definition section in the ChatGPT screenshot you posted. Even if I say something that would be clearly considered abusive, like "well, it's clear from this thread that you know fuck-all about conflicts of interest," that STILL isn't an ad hominem.

Being too quick to jump to "Ad hominem! I win!" is itself a fallacy, sometimes called the ad hominem fallacy fallacy. An ad hominem has to be devoid of any attempt to argue with the facts at hand, and instead _solely_ be attacking your personal character.
