Its so annoying because you have to manually add each vertex group… ughhh… 10 for the fingers to type in, then like 20 for the toes… but if i can flip someone off with my toes it’s worth it. Always been a dream of mine irl, so i must complete it

All that’s left now to weight to IVCS is the extra finger bones and toe bones. Toe bones are necessary because i need to learn to animate so i can make an emote that makes you flip people off with both hands and feet for shits and giggles. So you can deliver the ultimate fuck you to bosses

all thats left is weighting to IVCS and then packing the mod, yippee!!!

Trying to replace the symmetrical skin textures was a no-go, I guess the UVs are a bit more different than I thought. Oh well. There's also a slight neck seam, but I'll deal with it later since it's minute.

Underwear is mostly good, just need to colorset now. Added some shapekeys, fixed neck. I think, havent put my updates into the game yet.

Overall I want the most usability with it, despite the fact that it breaks the vanilla waist seam already.

Currently thinking about making custom shape keys on the non IVCS version and none on IVCS, but this may also be confusing for modders? Idk. 3/3

Pros: makes vanilla gear less awkward and weird looking when you happen to equip it

Cons: when upscaling people might not know how to use them so they may not make them, might be useless if someone is using c+ on ivcs bones (like the belly)

For most bodies they don’t exist iirc, so 2/3

Question for FFXIV mod users and modders (just deciding what I want to do, sorry if this makes no sense)

What’s your thoughts on custom shape keys on body mods to get rid of gaps when wearing vanilla gear? It allows for the body to match the vanilla waist/etc. but pros and cons i can think of: 1/3🧵
