J Batt was unequivocal: Football success is key to a high-level athletic dept. succeeding. He also wants to support Olympic/non-rev sports at at championship levels.

The NCAA issued Michigan State a notice of allegations for Tucker-era recruiting violations the university self reported. According to an MSU spokesperson, the university has not yet received a copy.
