My biggest fear is that we frogs have realized this much too late. I believe trump will at a minimum disrupt the midterm elections. At worst, we won't have them at all.

To me, America is dead because I can never see myself ever having any common ground with anyone who voted for trump in 2020 and especially 2024.

Yeah! I was active duty from 86 to 90. I was forced to attend this insane show where muscle heads breaking cinder blocks while singing the glories of Jesus.
I think they even did stuff with swords.
It was surreal.
