To me, America is dead because I can never see myself ever having any common ground with anyone who voted for trump in 2020 and especially 2024.
Trump is utterly insane and if a person can't see it, they are hopeless.

Yeah! I was active duty from 86 to 90. I was forced to attend this insane show where muscle heads breaking cinder blocks while singing the glories of Jesus.
I think they even did stuff with swords.
It was surreal.

I'm honestly fighting a growing sense of hopelessness when it comes to politics.
So yeah, I know we have work to do, and I am involved, but most Americans seem permanently tuned out.

People need to realize there is next to zero chance we will have free and fair elections in both 2026 and especially 2028.
You don't commit the crimes the trump administration has done and believe there will ever be any consequences.
They plan on staying in power.
