We chose what our state offered us as a gap plan but then everything got confused: the employee plan we were on was supposed to convert to Medigap. Ha! that didn’t happen so it was phone call after phone call to straighten out. It’s like there is only one lady at HR in Topeka doing it all

We both have PhDs in math and trying to get signed up for Medicare and supplemental was a giant headache. The regular Medicare sign up was easy, but the rest felt like reading a paper outside my discipline where everything was “left as an exercise for the reader. “

I use that blue sculpture to hold onto when I am doing my 4 min calf stretches in the AM. Also the area where I can feed crows in the street as they frown upon doing it on sidewalks.

We deserve better. Dehumanizing our neighbors by using photos of them on their worst days without their consent is unacceptable. We have a lot of work to do to address homelessness, but this only moves us further from that goal by othering real people in an attempt to score cheap political points.
