Leg amputation? The shit we learn when the game is over.
Ouch.
The best relief I had while in the hospital was Dilaudid, I had a button I could press every 3 minutes or so for a microdose. I've heard good things about that nerve blocker.

First off, I am really sorry about your mom. Was it COVID?
Have they spoken to you about which acute center? I went to Burke in White Plains and they were excellent. I needed to learn to stand and swallow food. I donate money to them now, they helped me immensely.

I stutter but I'm a Toastmaster. I know how to speak and write, I know I can help more. Before my health issue I spoke to the Dem party about running for State Assembly in VT after I voted and found out the GOP was running unopposed. So when I say I appreciate the welcome I've received, I mean it.

After stepping back a few years ago due to a major health scare, I'm energized to get back in the saddle, on the street and here. Your welcome has really touched me. I know this might shock you, but networking has never been my skill set.

I was in the hospital and acute rehab for a long time. It was during COVID, vising was tightly controlled when it was allowed at all and it sucked.

Did they tell you which facility they were thinking of sending you to? They usually only keep you for a week or 2. I take it they haven't sent you home yet. I don't know which hospital you're in, but if you're short on visitors and I can make it, I will.

Be careful if you encounter it!
