I too have the “high tolerance” and “process painkillers rapidly” genetics.

It takes a full 1/2 hour for any nerve blocks to take effect when I go to the dentist. Then they usually only last for about 45 minutes.

It also adds to the fallacy that people who make more “deserve” to keep more because they “work hard.”

We all know that’s mostly luck and family connections and inheritance.

For anyone making under $25K that tax rate should be ZERO.

I can afford to pay a little more so that other people struggling to pay for groceries can make their finances work.

This kid of tax structure contributes to the idea that people who make less are “at fault” for their situation.

So glad to see that there’s tax breaks for… the wealthiest - especially estate taxes that only affect the 1%

For 2026, it takes more income to push people into higher brackets.
