The new build. reusing my 10
-year-old case and 13-year-old PSU. The Corsair Vengeance RGB RAM looks nice, but it won't run at 3000mhz even with EXPO enabled. Only option Newegg has in a combo deal, otherwise I would have gone with some Teamgroup or G-Skill. I saved ten bucks for what?

I haven't built a new PC in 13 years, but I guess RAM manufacturers can just print speeds on their packaging that their RAM won't POST at and it's cool? Also, why do they put that protective peel-off thin cellophane on every computer component now? Like I care if I scratch a heatsink???
