The Ghoul pushes a great bundle of corpses ahead of itself. Every movement accompanied by the sound of compressed flesh and cracking bone. Every now and again the faint whimper of a near-dead person, collected too soon.

Carved bone and wood slot together to form a smooth, featureless helmet with a sharp crescent pointing towards the sky. If you call out to it, a voice conjured from the buzzing of a thousand filigree wings speaks out:

“Do not stand in the way of my morsels, lest you join the banquet.”

If you try to interrupt the ghoul in its work, it will stop immediately and attack you. If the ghoul is killed, their helmet bursts into 1000 beetles that scatter every which way.

A thought just occurred to me that maybe you don't like TTRPGs, but you have someone in your life who does: getting a custom magic weapon credited in their name, made from one of their favorite songs, would make a fantastic gift idea
