I rarely read my old stuff, but I was in the mood for a vampire short story so I decided on "Blood Relation" by James A. Moore and me. I have to say, with all due modesty, that was a damn fine vampire story.

Looking good, sir. What I really liked about the staff in REH was the idea that it was far older than it seemed and there were indications the 'cat' had originally been something else that had been re-carved.

The afternoon movie was 1971's TWINS OF EVIL. Aside from a couple of cringe worthy attempts at being 'erotic' this is a ripping good vampire movie. But hey it was the 70s. Ignore that part and just enjoying the great sets, Gothic atmosphere, and lots of action and bloody vampire attacks.
