nothing worse than writing unit tests with a mock connection to something and it fails saying that it wasn't called.
even though i've punted this on a Dev environment and it most certainly is called.

yeah exactly!
you shouldn't need to learn a complete scripting language to know when something's going to happen in combat!
the most complex weakaura i ever used was one to track festering wounds on a DK so that it was big and near my eye line!

god forbid they have to pay attention to the fight and not wait for a weakaura whizz bang to tell them what to do!
i have faith that blizz will deliver something that's a good replacement
their comms over the last while have showed they're actively acting on feedback and changing where appropriate

i picked up cloverpit (roguelite slot machine) because of its similarities to balatro (big number go up)
whilst i think it's a fun game, the moving about really breaks the gameplay loop for me
