I keep saying it, but my in-laws think he's going to build high speed rail in Michigan.

I don't know if it's something he has, or something the media is creating, but this is a true cult of personality, where people feel like they can just pour their hopes and dreams into him.
Hard to understand how anyone could think this after he had already served a term as president.
And a pony.
Sounds like Harvick is in. Ellis also says she's not going to consider evidence like body-worn camera footage that nobody mentions today.

"I would expect that, when this goes up on appeal, certainly that people are not going to be making arguments that they didn't make here."

ICE is staging in Parking Lot 13 at Dodger stadium, which is co-managed by former LA Dodgers owner Frank McCourt and current owners Guggenheim management/Mark Walter.

I guess since they won the World Series, they can now just help ICE kidnap at random.
He just advised his brother on how to cover up sexual assaults. While supposedly being a nuetral journalist.
Some people seem to be determined to breath life into the dual loyalties canard.

Internal DHS memo shows Trump plans to keep paying ICE agents and Border Patrol officers throughout the shutdown, while other feds go without pay.

Even the DHS administrative staff processing the paychecks won't get theirs, employee tells me.

It is amazing, again, how Populist thinkers anticipated the theoretical conclusions of Legal Realists and Institutionalist economists.
Doesn't suprise this white guy.

It's worth reading the whole rule, especially for regular protesters, but here's part of it.

Looking at the Federal Register this morning, DHS is moving up the effective date on a June rule that expanded its authority to charge people for certain criminal conduct around federal buildings. It was originally set to go into effect on January 1. It will now go into effect TOMORROW.

A 1st Amendment court battle is starting up in Arlington. An activist protesting outside Stephen Miller's (now former) home here had her phone seized by federal law enforcement working w/ local police. No charges yet. Our own @bradleyrhaywood.bsky.social and @parisaforjustice.bsky.social are on it 💪

“Experts don’t yet know what level of blast can damage the tissue, or whether blasts that are safe in limited numbers can cause harm with repeated exposure.

With so much unknown, many firearms experts and neurologists say the safest course of action is to limit exposure as much as possible.”

“The data showed that some large-caliber civilian rifles delivered a blast wave that exceeds what the military says is safe for the brain, and firing smaller-caliber guns repeatedly could quickly add up… indoor shooting ranges designed to make shooting safe inadvertently make blast exposure worse”
How Gun Blasts From Indoor Shooting May Cause Brain Injuries
The Times tested the blast waves of several popular civilian guns at an indoor range and found that repeated firing could add up to potentially harmful exposure.

COLLINS: But the argument from Republicans is that Biden used an autopen for pardons and didn't know who he was pardoning. Trump is openly saying he did not know who he was pardoning.

MARKWAYNE MULLIN: He said it was recommended to him. He gets a lot of recommendations. He pardons a lot of people.

It’s hardly the worst injustice in the world right now, but as a Jewish person who works on a campus, it makes it hard to speak up about genuine antisemitism when I know it would immediately be conscripted in the service of an anti-higher education agenda which I deplore. Better to stay silent.
