SCOOPLET: The collective of microinfluencer-technoartists tiat.place secured a lease at a chic downtown gallery. Will it have the reach to make Union Square…cool? Prob not, but with RTO sending more artsy yuppies to FiDi, I could see it becoming a scene and launching at least one real art career

This month has seen takedown after takedown of AI. When things seemed to come to a head last week, I wanted to know: Would the industry really change course, or would investors stay as enthusiastic as ever?

Downtown SF is not considered a war zone, but this is the reality for American journalists reporting on ICE action.

According to Eddie, who’s been reporting on ICE in SF for the past year, the brutality of the agents against the press and protestors is escalating. (3/3)

He had identified himself as press. He did not provoke them. They assaulted him anyway. And like a true professional, he flushed out his eyes, went right back to work, and wrote up what happened (2/3)

Reporter Eddie Kim went downtown to cover the detainment of an immigrant by ICE this morning.

Then he was pepper-sprayed in the face by an ICE agent standing a foot away. Completely unprovoked.

My first staffer story for @sf.gazetteer.co is up today 🌟

What are job seekers doing to break through the noise in today’s dismal job market? In short, anything and everything
sf.gazetteer.co
Some job seekers are blasting out AI-made resumes. Some are going full #opentowork content creator. Others are venting on LinkedIn about today’s ‘dehumanizing’ hiring processes. One thing’s for sure: Hiring is broken, and no one knows exactly how to go forward.
Job hunting is now a full-time job
With AI breaking both sides of the hiring process, LinkedIn is less a platform to find work than a place to vent about how bad the search has become
