so april 05 has extensive baked vs fried debates and eventually the new page is made and baked donuts are reinstated with an extremely defensive note
in may categorization remains messy: "falafel paste can hardly be considered dough" and "FAQ: cheerios and lifesavers"

variations and specialties by region is where things quickly devolve:
- Corn Dogs & Hush Puppies are fried corn bread, not fried cake/donuts
- Churro is a fried stick, deep fried mars bars & eggs are not pastries
- Elephant Ears and Frying Saucers are definitiely considered to be donut varieties

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the CDC is being eviscerated right now. America is not going to have any kind of outbreak response capacity after tonight. Americans’ health data is no longer secure. Say goodbye to federal public health in any capacity. It’s a disaster. We won’t recover.
