Massachusetts has spent months delaying & denying @boltsmag.org’s public records requests on how many people it has transferred ICE during Trump as part of its formal contract with ICE.

A supervisor of records ruled last week that the state’s denials are improper; we hope to get records soon.
Inside ICE’s Only Contract with a Blue State - Bolts
As part of a 287(g) contract between state officials and ICE, Massachusetts continues to release prisoners into deportation—even as state lawmakers look to ban other forms of ICE collaboration.

I keep hearing that the Epstein files are so big if we held everyone accountable everything would collapse. And no it wouldn’t. These rich guys don’t do any actual work. They aren’t actually important or useful they are just rich.

rubio’s invocation of “western civilization” — defined here as racial and religious chauvinism, if not outright supremacy — is a rejection of the more egalitarian and universalistic notions that came out of america’s two revolutions.

Disgusting. May all the Old Testament curses fall upon their heads.
ICE has completely broken our social contract.

They manipulate social trust and are creating lasting damage to our most basic social foundations
CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

Never forget that the whole idea of jaywalking was auto industry propaganda and lobbying to make “being a person” illegal.

Buy an e- bike.
At this point i think it is fair to assume that if you pull the thread on the rash of anti-bike/ebike laws and news/opinion, you will 100% find car companies and/oil companies at the other end.

I am offering no evidence, but after all we have seen, the burden of proof really should lie with them.
I think the media understands the difference between e-bikes and illegal e-motos. They are intentionally conflating the difference between legal e-bikes and illegal e-motos to stoke fear and get clicks.

It's could destroy the e-bike revolution if we don't find a way to stop it.

I always like to tell this story but during WWII, a 23 year old PHD mathematician from Harvard was able to solve the 8th Air Force’s gunnery problem in like 2 months without spending a day in the military (turns out you have to lead your target)

They built a world in which they could be horrifically abusive to everyone around them white or non-white, slave or free, man or woman.

And that evil was so totalizing that it overrode actual effectiveness.

The slave power was constantly seeking land, because it prioritized evil over agriculture.

Degenerate gamblers is putting it kindly.

The only goal in the antebellum south was to be a planter. Every enterprise, all learning and skills, were acquired in the effort to become a planter.

Despite this, they were all terrible at running plantations with no-cost labor. Nigh universally in debt.
"the elite of the antebellum South were degenerate gamblers who financed their lifestyles with industrialized rape and would kill you for pointing this out" is a straightforwardly accurate statement

Why would Yale have someone with a PragerU depth of understanding of a topic teach its students when there are thousands of much better adjunct instructors available? It's celebrity worship at the cost of its student's education.

It's only touched on briefly, but you need to consider the resurgence of the r-word in the context of the eugenicist policies of the Trump regime. They are using a word meant to demean those they view as less worthy and a drain on our society.
