My most firmly held political belief is that it should be illegal to refer to wet wipes as "flushable" considering the havoc they wreak on our sewer systems. It is entirely coincidental that Marxist-Leninism is the only way to achieve this.

Not wearing nylons and heels for work. I was a middle-school teacher. This was the abt 1990. I pushed that boundary til it screamed. By the time I left teaching in the mid 2000s, I was wearing jeans, t-shirts, and running shoes every damn day. Like everyone else I worked with. Never give in, ppl.

Used to work for Time Warner Cable (pre-merger and rebrand) as a Customer Care Representative. My supervisor once told me I "cared too much." This was in response to me taking the time to actually fix people's issues when they called or guide them to a solution. Horrendous habit of mine, I know.

Worked with a bunch of this on the board of what was basically a Jungian counseling center, which was very focused on Joseph Campbell’s work. I loved it. And then one day i learned that Campbell didn’t believe women could make The Hero’s Journey
