This cheered me up. On an episode of Antiques Roadshow that I just watched, a Bob Ross painting of the northern lights was appraised for $20k-30k. It's sad he's not around to see it. But in dark times he reminds us that America produces a lot of good people. (Plus it's owned by a Native Alaskan.)

i never played this game but this is exactly what i thought whenever i saw the box
*zola* was the first movie i saw after the vax & the trailers were preceded by clips from famous movie celebrations & a “thanks for being here; we’re happy to see you again” & i actually cried
Seeing Mortal Kombat (2022??) in a theater for the first time after the vax, and it being just awful, but everyone so grateful to be together watching garbage (also having forgotten movie etiquette and shouting at everything)

went to see *the untouchables* one summer morning after class & i was the only one in the theater until this guy walked in with an ENORMOUS bucket of popcorn, sat down directly across the aisle from me & immediately tipped the whole bucket in his lap

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
