If you have a Netflix account, games come with it that have had all of this garbage removed from them
The one I play a lot is called knittens-the ONLY currencies in it are earned in various ways through completing puzzles
There are tons of games now also

Speaking from industry- that's mostly because optimising for mobile devices is a lot harder than not doing that, and most mobile games are made by teams with a budget that can fit in one pocket

As a parent with a kid who’s starting to play games on the iPad, I’m so pissed at the predatory state of kid’s games.

1. I pay $7 to remove all ads from this game. Yet catch my kid watching ads - even after paying they are offered to watch for in-game rewards. WTH

My career is listening to people who flee places that get increasingly unsafe. A few months of "wait & see" can make a world of difference for safety & prospects. I've lived under authoritarianism myself.

So once when I was little, my dad tossed me a globe before heading to work and told me to find South Georgia. And I worked my way through the two more famous Georgias before finding Spith Georgia Island.
