in recent years there's been this new attempt to portray being a soulless blogspam affiliate hack as something that requires serious effort and research in order to "find the best deals" (a ton of these are usually AI)

None of them have been able to produce a single person who would vote Dem if only they hated trans people. No one has that as their single issue. Should Dems give the most airtime to trans rights instead of eg healthcare? No, that's not strategic. But they don't gain any votes by being transphobic.

I hate to say it but the majority of the country is not going to die on the hill of trans rights. We can’t protect ANY groups if we can’t win a national election, so purity tests only serve to make specific groups feel triumphant. That’s not “erasing” them; it’s long-horizon strategy.

but in terms of taxonomy a group has to be a single and complete branch of the tree, and "non-mammals" is not one, it's what remains of a tree if you remove a branch

Mine was Rocky which I haven’t seen, but the AI Google summary tried to tell me it was Star Wars which would be released three months later.

I DID see Star Wars 7x while my mum breastfed me a dark theatre. I was apparently a very quiet baby.
