but it doesn't matter what Dems and Indys think because Congress is controlled by the GOP. If Repubs turn against him, then maybe their congresspeople will have more motivation to do something. But I think his rating could drop to 20% and congress won't do anything.

At this point it's almost impossible to forecast what the admin will do. As far as I know, there's been no trouble from LEOs towards No Kings protesters (I'm only referring to those protests), but that doesn't mean there won't be.

There's a lot of info online about protestor safety and rights.

This is exactly when we need to be strongest and show up. You don't need to like the organizing group. You can think they're cringy shitlibs. The most important thing right now is NUMBERS. We need to show strength in order to preserve freedom. Without that, we won't have the luxury of arguing later.
