For clients/potential clients:
Lemoine knew the exhibits cold because he had spent hours doing his homework before the deposition to get the command of the facts and materials he needed. If you want that kind of quality in the lawyering and results, understand that prep - even on hourly - is key.

This is our culture.

Epstein isn't a freak exception, his elite friends aren't exceptions.

He, and they, are a mirror.

That's all.

There are SO MANY of us who have been effectively jettisoned because we expected these institutions to at least attempt to live their values.

They abused that trust, used us until we were inconvenient, and then burned us.

I know so many women with similar stories.

Anyway, if you want to know why we live in the world we do, it has a lot to do with the fact that we live in a culture that is structured and predisposed across the board to protect privileged people and specifically white cis men who leverage abuse for gain or pleasure.

Check out the thread I made last year highlighting black scientists throughout history!
Happy Black History Month to my folks! Science is not our enemy and engrained in our very being. We have always been in these spaces and will remain in these spaces. Below I’m highlighting black scientists who I admire.

If you are worried how data will be used against ICE protesters.

Or how smart homes reveal your secrets.

Or smart cars or medical devices will become evidence in court.

Listen to this conversation.

There are risks, rewards, and even solutions…

Those of us who have experienced psychological abuse in one way or another have known this for a long time. But if you just can’t shake that frustrated, violated, almost sanity-breaking feeling that an individual is acting irrationally towards you paired with the desperate hope you’re wrong? Abuse.
Um just so we name this, the president is abusing us collectively. He's an abuser, & he's abusing America, & beyond. We experience abuse from him, that's the dynamic.

People say we can't compare this to the Third Reich because of the atrocities but we only found out about the atrocities after the fact when it was all said and done and we're not done with this yet so I am sure the worst stomach churning shit has yet to be revealed.
ICYMI: The US is currently holding three times as many people in immigrant detention as were detained in the Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939 — six years into the Third Reich, and just before the start of World War II.

Feb. 1, 1960, 4 NC A&T students sat-in at the “whites only” counter at Woolworths in Greensboro. Their defiance ignited a movement led to the birth of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.

Young people fuel movements. It is inspiring to see that today they still do.

read online that someone set-up a premium rate phone number where callers get charged $3.99/ min. then they posted flyers in their neighborhood that said "call this number to report illegal aliens," but the number just puts them on hold with music. so far, they've made $17,000

❌ I will be stuck in a room with a firing squad of friends and allies whose eyes will go red like robots in the movies for 2 hours to grill me

✅ THEY will be stuck in there with ME while I talk a 2 hour blue streak about my very favorite stuff in the world 😌
