Military documents confirm that the LA operation today was a “show of presence” intended to send a message to LA residents about the power of the federal government.

After staging with armed soldiers and Border Patrol agents on horse, they packed up and left after a short walk.

Per the briefing:
"On order, 1-18th Cavalry Squadron provides static interagency site protection, mounted mobile security, and Joint Force Land Component Command UFLCC) Reserve support to Customs and Border Patrol (CRP) and supporting federal agencies, whose intent at MacArthur Park is to demonstrate, through a show of presence, the capacity and freedom of maneuver or federal law enforcement within the Los Angeles Joint Operations Area (JOA)."

I don't even agree with that. Ro Khanna is actively soliciting this fascist shit. Jeffries and Schumer can at least be convinced by some degree of pressure to grow a spine as opposed to listen to the same pusillanimous consultant crew.

Khanna is way different. He's a fash-curious tech bro Elon Musk defender. There are some who are kind of like him--Jared Polis comes to mind--but it's a completely different type of problem than what Jeffries and Schumer have going on.

This is frankly insane because 1) an ER model isn't designed to provide routine care (pre-natal and L&D comes to mind for this new-ish father) and 2) an ER model won't work for a hospital anyway if its patient base doesn't have insurance and can't pay out of pocket! This people are crazy.
