“WEXMAC TITUS allows ICE to treat immigration enforcement like a national security operation rather than a standard civil immigration one,” Michael Wriston, a 20-year veteran military analyst who is now a researcher and reporter with @projectsaltbox.bsky.social told me.

He played Kelso in Michael Mann's sprawling LA crime epic, Heat.
Oh, man. Tom Noonan died? His performance as Francis Dolarhyde in Manhunter is one of the most terrifying, mesmerizing I've ever seen in a film.

Rams legend. Unsung hero of the early McVay era. Sean asked his WRs to block on every down and Bobby Trees led by example. Absolute stud.
WR Robert Woods just announced his retirement from the NFL. He signed a one-day contract today to retire as a Ram:

People talk about this stuff in terms of how much it'll suck for gaming and I hate to inform you how many MRI machines, X-Rays, all sorts of other vital machinery are just a Windows IoT Edition PC in a beige plastic box with a big magnet/accelerator/whatever attached.

Every game had an instruction booklet. And SEGA had a toll-free phone number to call if you got stuck on a Master System game. It was 1-800-USA-SEGA.
I'm older than you so I can confirm that they came with a little book that had the tutorial in it and you read it on the way home

What’s so awful and stupid about this is that it applies to every single right-wing “Intellectual.” The whole culture is a snake pit of race science cranks and misogynist perverts. They have not changed their positions meaningfully since the civil war began.
The first assistant Chris Rufo hired in 2021 was a Pepe the frog loving fan of “groyper mom” Michelle Malkin. That guy worked for him for 3+ years before going to work for Russell Vought in the Trump administration last year. So Rufo can miss me with the “I’m shocked by Fuentes’s popularity.”

I think one of the best things about Bluesky and one of the things that is going to keep it from ever becoming as big as other sites is that everyone here has a real internal mistrust and dislike of people selling us something, either literally for money or for some sort of other gain
I think Bluesky is currently the best social media platform for keeping misinformation to a minimum, maybe because it’s not popular enough to be a target yet

Half the shit my friends, including fellow academics, share on Facebook is made up crap that they believe is real

Threads is atrocious too

Musk and plenty of SV heavies, people from the NYT, wife of the EIC at CBS News, the owner of The Atlantic, and lots of individuals platformed in the press as great thinkers and altruistic tech leaders ended up in the Epstein Files! Curious!
Instead of "the left isn't paying enough attention to these machine gods" they're claiming to build, perhaps we should write an article about how effective altruists brand themselves "left", ask who is writing these articles, and trace their cults and sources of funding.

It's wild there's a fight at all. That the media isn't double and tripling down on this heinous shit is crazy. This is stuff the American people need to see. Stuff the world needs to see. These are the people influencing global politics and sucking up your tax money while trafficking and raping kids
Rep. Thomas Massie vows to continue the Epstein files fight:

"When the attorney general is reduced to a stack of pre-prepared insults to deliver, and when the DOJ is responding to my every tweet with additional unredactions, I don't think I'm going to change what I'm doing just yet."

Also, every establishment Dem who said illegal immigration was a problem during the Biden admin has some culpability for where we are now.
In a nutshell, the Dem lodestar should be: "ICE is bad, and immigration is good"
My theory of the moment: The extraordinary courage of ordinary people in places like Minneapolis is reawakening us to our social and economic ties to immigrants. It's making "love thy neighbor" cool again. That's the ultimate antidote to MAGA hate.

Thoughts on this:
