Oh! Here's some crazy Philly restaurant scene shit I totally forgot about. Han Chiang from Han Dynasty and Le from Hop Sing were working together on a cocktail/Sichuan place that was gonna open at the Bel-Air Hotel in LA. Died on the vine because of the pandemic!

Oh shit all this restaurant drama reminded me of the Indian takeout wars between Tiffin and Ekta in Philly in the late 00s. It got so crazy that one of the places secretly launched a website with all these animated gifs of the rival chef saying "HE DOESN'T WASH HIS HANDS" it was awesome

CCTV footage appears to show DHS agents posing as people having car trouble in order to lure a target out of his house before arresting them. The target comes out and starts helping them before 3 vehicles surround the scene. The car "experiencing" trouble then drives off with them.

It really is amazing how much of political punditry, *especially* elite outfits in NYC and Washington, still embrace this bizarre idea that rural spaces represent the "Real America" while metropolitan areas, where most (presumably real) Americans actually live, should be held in contempt.
Just going to point out again that our arbitrary political rules permit Republicans to attack urban areas with impunity but strictly forbid the faintest whiff of condescension toward rural areas by Democrats
