President Trump's lethal strikes on boats in the Caribbean are cold-blooded murder. We need to know how his administration is claiming to justify them.

BREAKING: The House of Representatives passed a bill that would criminalize gender-affirming care for transgender youth under 18 and put doctors in prison for providing this care.

This bill is an unjustifiable threat to the well-being of trans youth and their families. The Senate must reject it.

This is good news.

Automatic license plate readers endanger everyone's privacy and civil liberties. More cities must follow Flagstaff's lead, and end their partnerships with Flock and other surveillance companies.

A man detained at California's largest ICE facility likely has cancer but he's been continuously denied medication and urgent treatment as his condition worsens.

We filed an emergency motion in court demanding he gets access to the care he needs that could save his life.

All people in the U.S. have a constitutional right to be free from excessive force. The agent’s actions against Carlos were dangerous, grossly excessive, and unlawful.

ICE unlawfully grabbed our client Rümeysa Öztürk off the street and sent her to a for-profit detention center in Louisiana — all for an op-ed she co-authored in her student paper.

What happened to Rümeysa is part of a broader crackdown on the First Amendment and immigrants' rights.

Providing people in government custody with access to legal counsel isn't optional — it's required by the Constitution.

ICE regularly violates this right and won't let people speak with their lawyer confidentially. We're taking ICE to court because people have a right to speak to their attorneys.

The Trump administration has banned Head Start providers from using 200 phrases when describing their programs and applying for grants, such as: women, disabilities, Black, belong, and tribal.

Head Start is essential and must be able to serve our communities freely. We're suing the administration.

The FBI has issued a call to surveillance companies for drones equipped with AI tech that could scan our faces, license plates, and surroundings in real-time.

This puts us all at risk of unwarranted government spying. They must reverse course.
