Funnily enough, I'm tempted to submit a different Bud Cort film, BREWSTER MCCLOUD. While not featuring a character looking into the lens, there's a fourth wall breaking camera move in the opening that I think about to this day
Was thinking about the excellent breaking of the 4th wall in Harold and Maude, and how it might be Mt Rushmore of wall breaks. Along with that one (4th image), got me thinking about others and landed on these:

It just doesn't feel like "tech" because it mostly produces kinda boring blue collar jobs instead of billionaires

In a movie full of psychopaths and sickos, somehow Noonan’s minor turn in Heat is more Terrifying Freak Shit Happening Underneath than anyone else and it isn’t close. A colossal talent, and a true loss.
