Great to see folks increasingly use "Epstein Class" as moniker. More potent and accurate still would be "Epstein Regime" as it's not merely a cohort but rather tied to the folks in political power and determined to rule over us.

What we see in data about election is that Americans are more concerned about eligible people being kept from voting than ineligible ones voting illegally. Good. Where story falls apart is Americans think former less likely to *alter election outcomes* than latter. /1

Creating a big tent is fine, great even. But that tent has to have a pole, a backbone, a set of values it believes in and policies it supports, otherwise it simply caves in and is no kind of shelter, gathering place or party at all.

Cannot be said enough: we win by making the argument, not by ignoring or reinforcing the lies of our opposition. This means more than being against enforcement, it requires making full throated case immigrants embody the bravery & tenacity we claim to admire.
My theory of the moment: The extraordinary courage of ordinary people in places like Minneapolis is reawakening us to our social and economic ties to immigrants. It's making "love thy neighbor" cool again. That's the ultimate antidote to MAGA hate.

Voting is a freedom specifically guaranteed in the Constitution; assaulting, abducting and murdering newcomers, people you suspect are, and anyone willing to protect them is a (granted, long time) evil practice.
