Have been trying to popularize it for...ever. Basically, it's just the crystallization of Race Class Narrative - as I know I don't need to tell you. :)

The bitter irony of this particular example of the scapegoating story is that if these fuckers wanted "Great Britain" to just be for the English, they should have left the rest of the world the fuck alone.

And rather than actually taking on the reason why people suffer and forcing billionaires to pay what they owe and stop purchasing themselves politicians and policies, center-left parties ignore or offer a "lite" version of the right's lies.

"Let mother vote, don't worry, it's all right
We'll still be there to hold you close
And tuck you in at night (tuck you in)
It won't disrupt your lives, we'll still be loyal wives
So, mister, won't you please let mother vote?

"LET MOTHER VOTE
WE RAISED YOU AFTER ALL
WON’T YOU THANK THE LADY YOU HAVE LOVED SINCE YOU WERE SMALL? WE REARED YOU, CHEERED YOU, HELPED YOU WHEN YOU FELL WITH YOUR BLESSING, WE COULD HELP AMERICA AS WELL"

And at every turn, I have been called "hysterical" (that word yes), admonished that "hyperbolic rhetoric" is unpersuasive, & shown RCT outcomes wherein 100 word AI-generated blurbs "move" voters on Trump disapproval.

At every turn, regime not administration, abduction not deportation, concentration camp not Alligator Alcatraz, MAGA Murder Bill not Big Ugly Bill/Big Beautiful Betrayal, we've tested & shown - we must be honest & call things by their outcomes not benign wash evil.

“A scrupulous writer, in every sentence that he writes, will ask himself at least four questions, thus: 1. What am I trying to say? 2. What words will express it? 3. What image or idiom will make it clearer? 4. Is this image fresh enough to have an effect?” -Orwell

There is a direct line between refusing to make the argument that immigrants are good and the proliferation of concentration camps where children are now sick and dying. When we do not assert the unequivocal humanity of all we enable the dehumanization of those authoritarians need as villains.

*What's hard is to get people to BELIEVE you about the argument if you do not actually act like you give a shit about working people.
